Primary School in Katowice is situated in the industrial region in the south of Poland. Majority of our students come from families with average economic and social conditions. There is a group of students with special educational needs who are under the constant care of school's psychologist.
The ideas of the project will be used to propagate tolerance, understanding and respecting other cultures and traditions both at school and local environment levels through displays of project products and activities.
As the participants of the project our students will have the chance to improve their foreign language and ITC skills through contacts with partner schools via Website, blogs and chatrooms. We also want to motivate our students to improve to work in teams thus preparing them for a cooperative learning environment.
