Oskara Kalpaka Rudbarzu pamatskola

 Oskara Kalpaka Rudbarzu primary school in Latvia is a small village school in economically disadvantaged rural area with 112 children at age of 3 to 15, from kindergarten to upper secondary level. Our teachers are keen to continue involvement in international cooperation amid Europe schools to promote staff development through exchanging modern pedagogical experiences and giving to children receptiveness of minds to cross-cultural contacts over Europe favour their development of a European awareness. We want to improve our curriculum and a potential of creativity of children, find and make contacts with teachers and pupils in the partner schools of the different European countries to know more about experience of teaching and learning in other European countries about vital issues of the European dimension, e.g. understanding of concepts like European citizenship, cultural differences, xenophobia, solidarity and tolerance.
